Welcome to

Northern Plains PUBLIC LIBRARY

NPPL is a small-town public library, with a strong community base made up of primarily families, children, and seniors. We have a large collection of materials and specialize in large programs for all ages. We are part of the High Plains Library District, but since we are a member library, we have our library board and have local control.

Highlighted Programs:

Summer Reading

Starting June 6th

Summer reading has sneaked its way back to the library! Swing by anytime to snag a bingo sheet. Score a bingo, get a free book; fill the sheet, win more books and a treasure chest surprise! All completed sheets go into a hat, and a lucky winner from each age group scores a mega prize at our Foam Party bash!

Gardening Class

The saga of gardening continues as we explore strategies for dealing with different garden pests. Take a thorough look at your lush domain and prepare your questions for our upcoming meeting.
