Welcome to

Northern Plains PUBLIC LIBRARY

NPPL is a small-town public library, with a strong community base made up of primarily families, children, and seniors. We have a large collection of materials and specialize in large programs for all ages. We are part of the High Plains Library District, but since we are a member library, we have our library board and have local control.

Our community is growing and thriving. As it grows the needs of our community and patrons change. It’s time for the library to grow and change in order to better service our community.

Our Friends of the Library and Librarians are working hard on different events and ways that the community can come together to raise the necessary funds to improve the library for the community.
