Welcome to

Northern Plains PUBLIC LIBRARY

NPPL is a small-town public library, with a strong community base made up of primarily families, children, and seniors. We have a large collection of materials and specialize in large programs for all ages. We are part of the High Plains Library District, but since we are a member library, we have our library board and have local control.

It's Summer Time!!!!

Summer Reading

Let’s C.O.L.O.R this summer! This summer we are Celebrating Our Love Of Reading! All ages are welcome to participate and it’s free to join. All you need to do is come to the library on June 4th at 10 AM to sign up. Once you sign up, you will receive your reading log (Bingo card or bookmark) to track your progress. Once you fill out your reading log, bring it in and get a prize and a free book. All turned in reading logs will be saved and entered into a raffle for the grand prizes at the end of the summer.
